Sinopsis:Comedia bíblica centrada en el Antiguo Testamento. Jack Black y Michael Cera serán los protagonistas de una historia en la que se narrarán acontecimientos de la Torah pero desde el punto de vista de un agnóstico.

Nos encontramos en plena era Prehistórica. Zed (Jack Black) y Oh (Michael Cera) se encargan de realizar la caza para saciar el apetito de su tribu, pero dada su ineptitud y su pereza, son expulsados del poblado. Condenados a vagar por un mundo que todavía está en pañales, Zed y Oh deberán aunar sus fuerzas para afrontar las terribles aventuras que les aguardan.
